- BIS Potato Gnocchi
- BIS Tomato Passata (Purée)
- Smoked Fresh Provola Cheese (diced)
- Grated Parmesan Cheese – 100 g
- Fresh Basil
- 1 clove of Garlic
- BIS Extra Virgin Olive Oil to taste
- Salt to taste
📝 DIRECTIONS
- Prepare the sauce: In a pan, sauté a clove of garlic with BIS Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with its distinct and authentic aroma. Add the BIS Tomato Passata (Purée) and season with salt. Let it cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes, finishing with a few fresh basil leaves.
- Cut the provola: The smoked provola cheese, our “stringy cotton,” should be cut into small cubes so that it melts perfectly into the final dish.
- Cook the gnocchi: Bring salted water to a boil and pour in the BIS Gnocchi. When they float to the surface, they are ready to be drained.
- Emulsify: In a large bowl, combine the freshly drained gnocchi with the sauce, the diced provola cheese, and plenty of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir gently to melt everything together.
- Rest and plate: Let it rest for a couple of minutes so that the provola cheese melts completely. Plate generously and decorate with fresh basil leaves.
