- Breadcrumbs – 100 gr
- Eggs – 4
- Pecorino Cheese – 250-300 gr
- Pepper – to taste
- Garlic clove – 1

- Frying oil – to taste
- Mayonnaise – 100 gr
- Teriyaki or Soy Sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds – 2 tablespoons
📝 DIRECTIONS
- Preparing the meatballs:
- Start by rinsing the BIS Chickpeas under running water. Then, transfer them to a food processor and add the pepper, the garlic clove, one whole egg, a generous amount of grated pecorino cheese, and a drizzle of Don Vincenzo extra virgin olive oil.
- Blend until you obtain a thick and workable mixture. If necessary, add a little breadcrumbs to get the right consistency.
- With your hands, form small balls with the mixture. Then, roll them in the breadcrumbs to get a crispy crust.
- Frying the meatballs: 4. In a pot, heat the frying oil. When the oil is hot, gently immerse the meatballs, letting them brown for about 3-4 minutes, until they are crispy and golden brown on all sides. 5. Remove the meatballs and dry them on paper towels to eliminate excess oil.
- Preparing the soy mayonnaise: In a bowl, mix the mayonnaise with the soy sauce or Teriyaki sauce until you get a creamy and smooth dressing. Add the sesame seeds for a crunchy note.
