A red wine made exclusively from Aglianico grapes grown in a vineyard of about 1 hectare, trained on the traditional pergola avellinese system and 55 years old, located in the municipality of Castelfranci in the province of Avellino, at 450 metres above sea level. The grapes are hand-picked and carried to the winery in small crates to avoid crushing the berries. After fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in 10-hectolitre Slavonian oak barrels, 12 months in steel and a further 48 months in bottle.
